I've had this journal entry sitting in my admin panel three months... sometimes I just write for myself and never actually share things..  
 
September 2014 
 
Be quiet. He talks in whispers. 
 
What are you hearing in the whispers? 
 
Be intentional. 
 
God will supply everything.  
 
Become less in control so that God can take over.  
 
Leave room for Him. 
 
Leave room for His work.

So it's said that He talks in whispers and here I am in a crowded room surrounded by screaming voices. 
 
Not knowing how to shut down or simply be still.. or to be at peace.  
 
No. Instead - I do. 
 
I hear what I think are whispers... His words.. His truth, but I don't ask or pray enough to relinquish myself from hesitation or doubts. 
 
Why? 
 
Because I'm too busy...  
 
Too busy doing....  
 
Too busy to listen. 
 
Just too busy..... 
 
 
 
I think it's time to slow down... to be more intentional instead of talking about being intentional. 
 
To stop being too busy. 
 
To wake up and not think about all of the things you have to do today. 
 
To go sit in the grass and count the clouds. 
 
To be anything other than busy.
