feel like a broken record.... I'm sure most of you would rather be seeing beautiful pictures of awesome clients instead of hearing about my life these days.... but I feel like this blog is also a place for me to write - about anything. So I hope that ya'll will bare with me for a while.  
 
Before I go any further - thank you for ALL of the prayers/thoughts, calls/texts and emails. We REALLY appreciate it. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! Chase is doing pretty well. We've had a couple of set backs - so he'll be in ICU for another week, but for the most part - he's doing great. He looks SO good... You can't even tell he just had major surgery. Actually, it's kind of funny - when they brought him out of surgery, he was still heavily medicated... he still had his breathing tube in - his hands and feet were tied down and he couldn't talk. I cried of course, but the funny part is - when I leaned down and kissed his forehead he struggled to open his eyes, looked up at me - and winked... three times. It made my night. I'm wondering to myself, how is it even possible for this man to be flirting with me just after heart surgery!?!?! I think I've told every person I've come across about it. He is such a little charmer! =) 
 
Life in the hospital you ask?!?!! Well, I won't even go there. Today, I had pizza hut for lunch AND dinner - on top of the bacon cheeseburgers I've had the past couple days. Let's just say... I'm bloated! But as I wipe the grease from my mouth, I look at Chase - and smile. I will eat greasy food for the rest of my life, as long as he's by my side! 
 
Did I mention that Chase's doctors have TWO patients.... We found out that we can both fit in his bed... that makes me SO happy. I get my cuddle time!
