Adrienne is and has always been a woman of strength. I would say that was my first impression of her... she's a tough cookie! But I know better than that, because it's how I used to 'come across' as well.... And because I saw a lot of myself in her, I've always known that underneath Adrienne's tough exterior, was a tender-heart just like me!!!!
It didn't take me long to realize that this tough-facade I had going on, wasn't who I wanted to be anymore.... Chase is the reason why I'm no longer the girl I used to be. The moment I met him, everything I once knew, disappeared -- and the 'real' Sharon came to light... The Sharon I'm proud to be.
Glen is that reason for Adrienne! After her bridal session, we went to dinner.... we cried and cried and cried.... talking about how these two men had changed our lives... for the better.
Let me tell you, I have always thought highly of Adrienne... BUT seeing her NOW.. years later.... after having met her (now) hubby Glen - she is an incredible woman! She is the best version of herself!!!! And to say that I am honored to have been a part of their day, would be a lie. Their wedding was hands-down the most incredible day I've ever been able to photograph... which is tough to say, because I witness incredible moments all the time. But knowing Adrienne... and seeing her transform into this person I always knew was there in college -- is incredible... because I know without a doubt that it's because of Glen.
Whew, makes me cry just thinking about it! I wish I had the words to do all of this justice... but I don't.
But more on that later... sorry I get carried away!
