n this industry that is photography.... photographers are urged to find out who their 'target' market is... their 'target' client...
They're urged to find out what kinds of people they want to work with.... who they want to take pictures of.
Photographers are told that you can't market to EVERYONE.... no way.. no how.
It just wouldn't work....

was chatting with another photography friend last night... and I brought up 'branding' and if she had a brand.. she responded with - "I'm kind of in this place of trying to find my style.... I'm at a stage in photography similar to the awkward middle school hair cut. Somedays you can make it into something, other days it's just plain weird."
